Returns & Refund Policy

HeartCanvas.art creates custom, commissioned artwork designed in collaboration with each client. Because of the personalized nature of our products, the following policy applies:

1. Custom & Commissioned Artwork (Final Sale)

All commissioned and custom artwork sales are final.

Due to the personalized and collaborative process involved in creating your artwork, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds once production has begun.

Our structured collaboration process — including message confirmation, concept alignment, and approval checkpoints — is designed to ensure the final artwork reflects your intention and expectations before it is produced.

2. Approval Process

By approving a final proof, concept, or production confirmation (via email or platform communication), you acknowledge that:

  • The design, message, and details are correct

  • You authorize production

  • The order becomes non-refundable

Please review all approvals carefully before confirming.

3. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only before production begins.

Once artwork production has started, cancellations are not permitted.

If a cancellation is approved before production:

  • Payment processing fees (if applicable) may be deducted from the refund.

4. Damaged in Transit

If your artwork arrives damaged:

  • You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photos of:

    • The damaged artwork

    • The packaging

    • The shipping label

If approved, we will:

  • Recreate the artwork, or

  • Repair it where possible

We do not offer refunds for shipping damage unless replacement is not feasible.

5. Incorrect Item

If you receive the wrong item due to our error, contact us within 72 hours of delivery. We will correct the mistake at no additional cost.

6. Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, weather, or other factors outside our control. Shipping time estimates are not guarantees.
